Radianz surface is composed of about 93% quartz, one of the hardest minerals found in nature, combined with polyester resin and pigments, which gives the product superior performance. A blend of natural quartz and advanced polymers, Radianz surfaces are a minimum of 93% natural quartz. Quartz is one of the hardest minerals found in nature, and it has been combined with polyester resin and pigments to give the product outstanding performance. Being significantly harder than granite, it has a higher scratch resistance and unlike granite, Radianz does not require periodic sealing. It is heat resistant; however as with all quartz materials it is still recommended that hot cookware be placed on a trivet. The surfaces are non-porous and, as a consequence, are completely hygienic and simple to maintain.
